Haos (grey) Power - Giving the underdog the finishing moves!

The Haos (grey) attribute revolves around the tomboy, Runo Misaki, a fifth-grader. Her guardian Bakugan is a Haos-attribute Tigrerra, very obedient and powerful in battle. Haos uses the power of light and is known to come from behind in battles rather than relying on tricky movement of the Aquos or the brute force of Subterra. The Haos effects favor the underdog with game-changing gate cards and powerful ability cards. The Haos-attributed Bakugan are not known for their high G-ratings. Rather, they are compensated for their powerful cards. Therefore, lower G-rated Haos Bakugan often have special powers and abilities that the higher rated ones do not have.

Strategy for selection of gate cards:

  • Copper: These are the strongest of gate cards for Haos. Stand Your Ground gets your ability cards back from the used pile. G-Power Exchange switches G-power ratings. To give victory to the lowest G-powered Bakugan, Duck and Win and Tricky Gate allow you to do as such.
  • Silver: Haos has room for flexibility - so its wise to reward yourself as high of a G-rating bonus without giving too much bonus to your opponents. You definitely want to try to get the biggest bang for your buck in terms of the bonus for this type of gate card.
  • Gold: General rule of thumb is to match the class (shape) of the Bakugan on the card to the ones you have in play. Most of them will grant a specific bonus to that Bakugan. Since Haos relies greatly on ability cards to win battles, there is a specific gold Skyress gate card that will let you reuse those ability cards to really give you an upperhand in the game!

Strategies on selecting the best ability cards.

  • Red: Runo's Throw is a safe choice if you are using a wide range of G-Powers for your Bakugan. Since there are some gate cards like Tricky Gate which declares the Bakugan with the smallest G-power to win, Runo's Throw will protect you from losing with your highest rated Bakugan in those type of battles. Red ability cards are not known for awarding G-power bonuses, although there are a couple of exceptions. Study them closely to see which most suits your style of gameplay and the Bakugan force that you will be playing with.
  • Blue: It is a safe bet to go with a a blue ability card that gives out a big Haos bonus like Flash or Bright Light. Since you will be the underdog in G-power, it is best to accomodate that with powerful ability cards. If your opponent appears to be on that likes to stick only play with one type of class Bakugan, a really powerful card is Predictable Opponent which will give you a big G-power bonus if that is the case.
  • Green: There are many fine choices for the Green ability cards. Study them thoroughly so you can optimize the use for these cards. Haos is a safe card to use to get up to even with your opponent if you are behind. Help from Friends will let you recycle your used ability cards, leaving your opponent with fewer options in the latter part of the game. Haos 2 is an extremely powerful card - if your opponent exceeds your Bakugan by 160 G-power points, you can immediately take one of his "won" gate cards directly into your pile. If you already have two of them, this move will result in immediate victory.

There are many possibilities to craft your gameplay with a "weaker" G-powered force. Analyze the cards before selecting them and ensure that they will work in conjunction with your Bakugan in circumstantial, decisive plans. Remember that few earlier, planned losses can result in powerful latter attacks that will attribute to a closing win. Beware of the Subterra, known for its brute force which can often shut down your plan of attack.
